“Nice little campground with good room between sites. There is road noise from the interstate that is very nearby.”
“No host. Restroom closed. Porta potties clean. People squabbled a bit as no one was honoring reserved sites. It was pretty much first come first serve. Been coming here 10+ years. Will be back. This was just a single bad experience. ”
“I booked the campground because there was flushing toilets. Unfortunately they were not working and had to use porta potties. This was very disappointing.”

Wyeth Campground sits just off I-84 at the base of the Columbia River Gorge cliffs in a mix of forest and grassy fields, roughly a quarter mile west of the Wyeth exit (#51). The campground has 16 total campsites 13 individual sites and three group sites and all 16 are configured to accommodate both RVs and tents; paved roads, paths and aprons make the site broadly accessible and many individual sites are fully accessible. There are no electrical or water hookups and no dump station, so RVs should plan for self-contained stays and note the recommended maximum trailer length is 30 feet. A full-time, 24-hour camp host is on site and the central restroom has flush toilets and hot and cold water; each site includes a picnic table and a metal fire grill. Reservations cover one vehicle (or a vehicle plus trailer) for individual sites and two vehicles (or two vehicle+trailer combos) for group sites; additional vehicles are $5 per day and must be paid at the campground fee box. Recreation at Wyeth ties directly into the Gorge's range of options: the Historic Columbia River Highway bike path runs directly adjacent to the campground for easy road biking or relaxed rides to nearby picnic and waterfall stops, and short hikes lead toward the Mark O. Hatfield Wilderness, creek access, and dispersed camping opportunities. On-river activities fishing, sea kayaking, kiteboarding and windsurfing are reachable within a short drive (Hood River's wind-sailing area is about 10 miles east), and attractions within 45 minutes include Bonneville Dam hatchery tours and sternwheeler cruises out of Cascade Locks. Note important safety and access details before you go: the Wyeth Trail #411 remains closed indefinitely due to damage from the 2017 Eagle Creek fire, areas that have burned carry additional risks, and some trailheads and recreation sites in the Gorge require a site-specific digital pass check current conditions and pass requirements before arrival.
