“The campground was nice clean people were very nice that own it”
“Nice location,by the river just hearing it run very relaxing. Clean bath house. Just a nice place to come not to from from Bryson City and Cherokee.”
“The new Teepees were great! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The rain wasn’t too bad but it did wet the perimeter of the teepee and something got pretty wet so just raise everything the best you can or pack in water proof bags.”

Smack dab in the middle of all that is good, Grumpy Bear Campground is a place for relaxation, fishing, hiking and so much more. Take a ride on the Smoky Mountain Railroad or visit Cherokee Harrah's Casino or head to the beautiful Smoky Mountain National Park right down the road. Grumpy Bear takes pride in their property and tends to campers needs at all hours of the day. Sites will fit any size RV and come with a 20/30/50 amp with water and sewer! Campers will enjoy the sound of the river flowing nearby and have access to the best bathrooms in the camping business.
