“Stayed in a cabin and it was a great experience. Close to the bathrooms, close to the hot showers. When it got cold they brought me a space heater. Best "camping" I've ever done!”

Coolwater Campground is surrounded by the beautiful Manistee National Forest. Located on the Pine River, one of the Michigans’ premier canoe rivers and a Blue Ribbon Trout Stream. Enjoy the beautiful river landing for overnight canoe trips, and it also makes a great fishing spot! With the National Forest nearby, this location is packed with great opportunities for hunting, fishing, morel mushrooms, hiking, biking, and relaxing.
