Guest ★ 5 · Jun 2026We had a large wooded site, comparable to those in state parks, with a fire pit lined with natural stones. The bathrooms were first rate, and even the wood we bought was high quality. We usually prefer state park campgrounds to private ones, but this KOA had the natural beauty and space we like, along with superior amenities.

Our very friendly staff is excited to meet you and help in any way we can in our one-of-a-kind campground that offers a variety of campsites. Trash pickup is included with your site, as well as high speed free WIFI with no passwords! We are just 45 minutes away from two entrances to the Shenandoah Valley National Park, which is home to the historic Skyline Drive and gorgeous fall foliage, a must see when visiting the Valley. We are also located minutes away from Massanutten Ski and Waterpark Resort, Civil War Battlefields, antique stores, wineries, breweries, Harrisonburg's historic downtown, caverns and wonderful hiking trails. Our staff has even more attractions hiding up their sleeves, come visit with us to find out more.
