Tucked away on 70 private acres in the mountains of Southern Oregon's beautiful Illinois Valley, Whisper Canyon Ranch feels like a hidden world of towering forests, sunny meadows, winding trails, and star-filled skies. We're just four miles from the little town of Selma—close enough for convenience, yet surrounded by public lands and the quiet beauty of the wilderness. Perfectly situated for exploring Southern Oregon, we're just minutes from Lake Selmac, the Illinois River, and countless hiking opportunities, with the Oregon Caves about 45 minutes away and the Redwoods just an hour's drive. Whisper Canyon Ranch is first and foremost a weekend wedding and event venue, which means every corner of the property has been thoughtfully designed for beauty, comfort, and gathering. During the week and on select weekends outside of private events, we open our gates to travelers looking for something a little more memorable than an ordinary campground. Whether you're pitching your own tent, arriving in a camper van, staying in one of our cozy cabins, or settling into a fully furnished bell tent at Glamp Camp, you'll become part of our little forest village for a while. For groups looking to gather, we also offer private bookings for retreats, workshops, reunions, celebrations, and other meaningful events. With beautiful gathering spaces, overnight accommodations, and room to spread out, Whisper Canyon Ranch is an unforgettable place to bring people together. 🌿 The Experience Slow mornings with a cup of coffee. Also available for private ceremonies, circles, and retreats. 🌾 Gardens, Meadows & Forest Trails – Explore flower, herb, and vegetable gardens, stroll through open meadows, or wander the wooded trails that weave throughout the property. 🚿 Outdoor Cedar Showers – Two private open-air cedar showers surrounded by nature. 💻 Cosmic Café – When not reserved for private events (typically Monday–Thursday during summer), enjoy our cozy gathering space featuring Wi-Fi, billiards, ping pong, board games, comfortable seating, TVs, and covered patios. 🔥 Glamp Camp Commons – Home to our three beautifully furnished bell tents, this shared space includes a communal camp kitchen and propane fire pit (when seasonal fire restrictions allow). 🥏 Putt-Putt Disc Golf – A fun, family-friendly course tucked among the trees. 🚻 Clean Restrooms – Well-maintained portable restrooms conveniently located for campers. Because Whisper Canyon is an active wedding and event venue, you may occasionally see preparations taking place or hear celebrations during private events. Weekend quiet hours begin at midnight, allowing everyone to enjoy both the festivities and a restful night's sleep.
