Springmaid Mountain is a secluded 400-acre retreat located on the North Toe River, offering visitors peace, quiet, and tranquility. Just a mile-and-a-half off the Blue Ridge Parkway, Springmaid Mountain is the perfect place to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Along with scheduled activities, Springmaid Mountain offers a swimming pond, swinging bridge, waterfalls, corn hole and horseshoe toss, and volleyball court. With so many fun things to do, Springmaid Mountain is perfect for church groups of all ages, weddings, social functions, civic groups, corporate retreats, company picnics, family reunions, and more. Boy Scout, Girl Scout, and Venture Crew camping events are also great adventures at Springmaid Mountain. Mountain cabins offer comfort and peace for a relaxing getaway. All cabins include a flat-screen with DISH Network TV, full-size stove, microwave, refrigerator, toaster, coffee maker, silverware, glasses, dishes, pots/pans, basic utensils, outdoor grill utensils, charcoal grills, linens (bed sheets, towels, wash cloths), bars of soap (no shampoo and conditioner). We provide paper towels, toilet paper, coffee filters (no coffee and creamer), dish detergent, dishcloth and drying towel, trash bags, and plastic wrap. Call the front office if you need anything listed. Springmaid Mountain's campground offers sites suitable for tents, pop-ups, campers, and RVs. Surrounded by beautiful mountain scenery with many on-site recreational opportunities, Springmaid Mountain is the ideal place to relax and have fun. Our campground includes a bathhouse with showers, restrooms, and sinks. We suggest bringing no larger than 30-foot campers. If you're new to camping, refer to our helpful packing list. Springmaid Mountain has long been a destination for large groups, hosting corporate retreats, church groups, company picnics, Boy Scout and Girl Scout camp trips, civic groups, family reunions, getaways with friends and much more. There are multiple accommodations that will serve large parties, including the Bunkhouse cabin which sleeps up to 32, and the Lodge, which can accommodate up to 12.
