Piney Grove Campground sits on the shore of Bay Springs Lake in northeastern Mississippi, part of the larger Tennessee-Tombigbee Waterway system. The campground offers 138 sites that accommodate both RVs and tents, each outfitted with electric hookups, a lantern post, an impact pad, a campfire ring and a picnic table simple, consistent amenities that make it easy to set up for a family outing or a weekend with friends. The day-use shoreline is close at hand: Piney Grove Beach is a short walk or bike ride from the loop, and the popular Old Bridge Beach and other recreation areas dot the nine-mile length of Bay Springs Lake, providing easy access to swimming, shoreline fishing and places to spread out a picnic. Two multi-use courts and a playground are on-site for kids and active adults, while the wider Tenn-Tom corridor a 234-mile engineered waterway with hundreds of thousands of acres of public land opens up opportunities for longer paddling, boating and wildlife viewing.
