Hontoon Island State Park is a Florida State Parks campground in West Deland.

Attention
Our cabins are very rustic. Each cabin has a ceiling fan, overhead lighting, one electrical outlet, bunk beds (no linen), and a screen porch with table and chairs. Outside each cabin is a picnic table, water faucet, and a ground grill suitable for cooking or a small campfire. All cabins are less than 30 yards to the restroom and about 3/10 of a mile to the playground.
You must enter Hontoon Island's address into your GPS in order to arrive at the correct destination. The address is 2309 River Ridge Road, Deland, FL 32720. Entering the parks name into your GPS will not bring you to the parking area.
Facility Important Information
• The park gate closes a half hour before sunset. There is no access to the island except by private vessel once the park closes.
• Hontoon Island, located in the St Johns River, is accessible by a park operated passenger only ferry (no R.V.s) or by private boat. The ferry service runs from 8 a.m. until 6:30 p.m. during the summer. Please call 386-736-5309 for winter hours. All cabins and tent sites are located 3/10 of a mile from the ferry dock. Marina sites are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Check in time is 3 p.m. Check out time is 1 p.m.
Quiet time begins at 11 p.m. and must be observed by all campers.

Pets are not allowed in any state park cabins or cabin areas.
Service animals are welcome in all areas of the park where visitors are normally allowed.
No one younger than 18 may camp overnight unless accompanied by a responsible adult, who will remain onsite for the period rented.
