Park Hours: Please note that the park gates close at sunset each day. If your arrival will be after sunset, kindly contact the park at (850) 267-8330 before 5:00 p.m. on your arrival day to make arrangements.

Welcome to Topsail Hill Preserve State Park. Topsail Hill is named for its dunes, which rise like a ship's sails over soft sand beaches and the emerald waters of the Gulf of America. Those same white quartz dunes are responsible for a rare coastal ecosystem of freshwater dune lakes that teem with aquatic wildlife. Walkers will pass through old-growth pine forests, sandy scrubland, dunes and wetlands, where they may see some of the 13 imperiled species that find refuge here, like the Choctawhatchee beach mouse and otherworldly-looking pitcher plants. Topsail Hill offers 3 miles of pristine beaches and is a bird-watching and hiking paradise.
Beach Access: You can reach the beautiful beach area by tram, bicycle, or by taking a leisurely walk. Please note that personal vehicles are not permitted on the tram road.
Campsite Utilities: For your convenience, all RV campsites are equipped with 50-amp, 30-amp, and 20-amp electrical connections, as well as sewer hookups. All tent campsites offer both 20-amp and 30-amp electrical connections.
Pet Guidelines: We welcome your well-behaved furry friends in our campgrounds. Please familiarize yourself with the pet camping rules outlined in the complete Florida State Parks Pet Policy floridastateparks.org/PetPolicy . For the health and safety of all our guests, pets are not permitted in any state park cabins/bungalows or cabin/bungalow areas. Service animals are gladly welcomed in all areas of the park accessible to visitors.
