Guest ★ 4 · Jun 2026The campground was doing some improvements, that aside. The grounds needed maintenance, the laundromat was clean. I did not check bath/shower rooms. No shade. Gravel pads. We could not enjoy sitting outside as the wind was bad, very dusty.
Guest ★ 1 · Jun 2026$53.00 for a $5.00 campsite and 0 rest. On a noisy interstate with a road between the campground and interstate that the locals apparently use to appease their ego with their loud exhaust. Find better places for campgrounds! Stop allowing noisy vehicles, door slamming, impact drills, horn hooking to lock, lights. KOA needs to get over the price gouging! Its illegal, immoral and unethical!!!!!
Guest ★ 5 · Jun 2026Rawlins KOA is a very nice stop over on your way east or west along I-80. We've stayed here a few times and each time the employees have been delightful to work with. Their sites are large and flat allowing us to stay connected (truck to trailer). This saves with set up and tear down when only stopping for the night. This location has everything you need for refreshing stay.

We like to say we are a day's drive from everywhere! That means we are the perfect stop on your way to or from all there is to see and do in Wyoming! We are also a day's drive from Mt Rushmore, Denver, Salt Lake City and many other locations! We offer convenient on/off of I-80. | We have many wonderful ways to stay with RV sites to fit any need, tent campsites with power at all sites, and cabins for those who love the outdoors but also like to have a roof over their heads. We are also in the process of upgrading to a deluxe couples cabin and 20 new RV sites. | Because we are located in a high desert climate, we enjoy great weather - warm, dry, breezy days and cool evenings. | There are lots of things to see and do in our area should you choose to stay an extra day or two! We are just off the Continental Divide Trail, the Transamerica Trail and if you are interested in world-class fishing, ATVing, hiking or other activities, we can help you find what you are looking for in our area. Just ask one of our Guest Services Specialists when you check in.
