Please check back for 2027, and we will be healed and excited to welcome you back!! Willapa Valley Music Festival and Vendor Fair - July 18, 2026 on neighboring property. Your booking on Saturday July 18, includes a welcome gift and VIP access to the music festival! Propane fire pits allowed during burn ban. The Chunky Squirrel is a family-owned, 7-acre, heritage site. Recently repurchased by siblings, the site is adjoining the 4th generation farm. The family's ancestors settled here after traveling with the Willie Kiel wagon train from the Midwest. Nearby is the monument to Willie Kiel and the historical family cemetery. The 7-acres includes a stream, walking trails, eagles and other wildlife, and cattle nearby. Rehabilitation efforts are underway, with the addition of a water supply. Coming in 2026!!! A professionally serviced porta potty! We are excited to introduce you to this quiet, rural lifestyle, outside the hustle of crowded rv parks. Enjoy beautiful sunrises and sunsets, visit our historic grocery store, and enjoy the rails to trails walking and biking trail.
