Exquisitely beautiful area formed by melting glaciers forming the "Alta Coulee". The campground is situated at the South end of Alta Lake, owned and operated by my grandparents in 1946 until my father took over in 1980 adding commercial Outfitting and Guide services by Sawtooth Outfitters. Covid put a halt on business for a few years, but we have once again opened the gates and are conducting business similar to those of the "Good Ol' Days"! With each new season brings a new opportunity and a small improvement project to continue paving the way into the future of Whistlin' Pine! The lake is 220 acres known to Anglers near and far. Plenty of room for the sunseekers wanting to play in the water on paddle boards, kayaks, jet skis, and water skiing. An 18-hole Golf Course resides at the North end of the lake and white water rafting just a few miles down the hill on the Methow River. For the foodies, Chelan is just 30 miles south and Twisp/Winthrop is 40 miles to the North, also abundant with events, wineries, and shopping. Guided Horseback riding is available onsite, must book in advance. We offer free Wi fi to guests near the office only. Additional information on the website at [xxxxxxxx].
