There is a rustic family campground for individuals located at Colton Point State Park beside the Organized Group Tenting area. It is a non-reservable facility that is first-come, first served. There are 19 campsites, pets are permitted (pets are not permitted in the OGT). Upon arrival, choose a campsite that is unoccupied, and fill out an Honor Envelope at the bulletin board at the entrance of the campground. Payment can be made with check or cash. A green fee tube is located by the bulletin board for collection of camping fees (all the registration instructions are posted on the bulletin board). The rugged overlooks offer great views of the canyon. On the other side of the canyon is Leonard Harrison State Park.
