Clear Creek is one of eight state forests located in the Pennsylvania Wilds. It comprises 16,716 acres in Jefferson, Clarion, Venango, Forest, and Mercer Counties. Many of its acres border the Clarion and Allegheny Rivers while other tracts rest on the Allegheny Plateau and grow a diverse collection of trees.
