“Verry Clean restrooms and convenient location. Level site and would stay again. Nice if they would outlaw generators.”
“Great spots. Plenty of spaces. Don’t think there’s a bad space at all. Really level. ”
“Specious site, clean bathroom just no shower ”

Boulder Beach Campground sits on the Boulder Basin of Lake Mead between Henderson and Boulder City, just off U.S. Highway 93, and operates year-round. The campground has 130 paved sites that accept both tents and large RVs, arranged in five loops (G: 47 sites; A: 17; B: 20; C: 22; D: 23). Sites are asphalt or concrete with paved roads to each pull-in and include a picnic table and a fire ring or grill; many sites have shade from palms, oleanders and mature cottonwoods and some offer clear views of Lake Mead, Fortification Hill and the River Mountains. Each site is permitted for up to eight people and one camping unit, with a maximum of two motor vehicles (or up to four motorcycles) per site; accessible sites are available. Scattered water spigots and restrooms with flush toilets and sinks are located throughout the campground (there are no showers), and an RV dump station and a potable water refill are located near the entrance. From your campsite you have immediate access to water and desert recreation: the shoreline at Boulder Beach is roughly a 20-minute walk away and several designated beaches Boulder Beach, Canoe/Kayak Beach and PWC Beach sit within a couple of miles for swimming, kayaking and personal watercraft. The paved River Mountains Loop Trail passes right by the campground and offers more than 30 miles of biking and hiking that connects to the Historic Railroad Tunnel Trail near the Alan Bible Visitor Center. Boat launches and the Hemenway Harbor fishing pier are nearby, and you can rent boats or dine at the docks at Las Vegas Boat Harbor or Lake Mead Marina; Lake Mead Cruises runs seasonal excursions to the Hoover Dam, which itself is only minutes south. There is a park entrance fee (daily 1 7 days $25 per vehicle; Interagency/Lake Mead passes accepted), and the campground fee is $20 per site paid only through the Rec.gov system first-come, first-served sites are not available, same-day reservations can be made via the kiosk or Rec.gov, and credit cards are the only accepted payment method. Expect very hot summers (often above 100°F/37°C in June August, around 90°F/32°C in May and September), cooler October April weather with possible freezing lows in winter, and very low annual rainfall (about 4 inches), so plan water, shade and sun protection accordingly.
