Bahia Honda State Park is a Florida State Parks campground in Big Pine Key. It lists 33 RV or RV/tent sites and 7 tent sites for rigs up to 48 ft. Florida State Parks lists electric and water in Buttonwood and Sandspur; water only in Bayside; dump station in Buttonwood.

Three duplex cabins (6 units) are furnished with accommodations for up to a maximum of 4 to 6 people per cabin. Each cabin is equipped with kitchen appliances, utensils and linens. The cabins have a full bath, central A/C and heat, 2 bedrooms and a living room area. The cabins are on stilts and accessible by steps only. CABIN 2 IS ADA ACCESSIBLE AND HAS A LIFT. Each cabin has a porch above and a wood deck on ground level with a picnic table and grill. The road to the cabins has a vehicle height restriction of 6' 8" (SIX FOOT, 8 INCHES). Your vehicle has to be able to go under the New Bahia Honda Bridge.

The park gates close at sunset. If you plan to arrive late please, contact the park prior to 5 p.m. on the day of your arrival.

Welcome to Bahia Honda State Park. Along with its iconic Florida Keys scenery, sandy beaches, gin-clear waters and magnificent sunsets, the park is known for balmy sea breezes that caress the shores year-round. Henry Flagler’s bold effort to build a railroad to Key West in the early 1900s turned the remote island of Bahia Honda Key into a tropical destination. Along with its iconic Florida scenery — palm-lined beaches, gin-clear waters and magnificent sunsets — the park is known for balmy sea breezes that caress the shores year-round. The park is an excellent place to observe wading birds and shorebirds, and introduces nature lovers to the island’s plants and animals. Kayaks and snorkeling gear can be rented, and boat trips to the reef for snorkeling excursions are available.
