Discount Pass must be presented at the time of check in. Your DMV Disabled Placard/License Plate does not automatically give you a discount on your campsite. You will need to obtain a CA State park-issued Disabled Discount Pass (DDP) or Distinguished Veterans Pass (DVP). • Factory-built, self-contained RV’s only. Must include running water, internal flushable toilet with holding tank, shower and cooking facilities. No conversions, tent camping or cassette toilets allowed. Restroom facilities are locked at 10pm. • Entry gate closes at 9:00 p.m. and park closes at 10:00 p.m. Campers arriving after gate closure time need to make after hour arrangements by calling (714) 377-5691 between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. • Fees include entry for 1 vehicle and 1 legally towed vehicle or trailer, additional vehicles will be charged per night at the park. Although your site may hold 2 or more vehicles, your reservation only covers 1 vehicle (except for group or specialty sites). • Electrical and water hook-ups only. No business or private party may conduct business on State Park property without an approved contract.

Bolsa Chica State Beach is a popular place for surf fishing for perch, corbina, croaker, cabezon and sand shark. Also popular in the summer is bare-handed fishing for California grunion, a species that only spawns on southern California beaches. The beach extends three miles from Seal Beach to Huntington Beach City Pier. A bikeway connects it with Huntington State Beach, seven miles south. Wildlife and bird watching are popular. Across the road from the beach is the 1,000-acre Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve, operated by the California Dept. of Fish and Game.
