San Luis Reservoir SRA is nestled in the grassy hills of the western San Joaquin Valley near historic Pacheco Pass. It offers three lakes for fishing, boating, board sailing, camping, and picnicking. The San Luis Reservoir stores runoff water from the Delta that would otherwise flow into the ocean.

Pick up in Los GatosSan Luis Reservoir SRA is restricted to an occupancy limit of (30) thirty days, in total by the same person, equipment, or vehicles in any calendar year. The thirty (30) day limit resets on January 1 of a new calendar year. No persons, equipment, or vehicles shall occupy a campsite(s) for more than fourteen (14) consecutive days in any campground. For group camps, stays are limited to seven (7) nights.
San Luis Reservoir SRAGroup Sites
Effective January 1, 2027, visitors who want to reserve Group Camp A or Group Camp B should contact the Rancho San Luis Sector Office at 209-826-1196, Tuesday-Thursday, to reserve these sites under Special Event designation.
