Feather River Scenic Byway, California
Travelers looking to enjoy some fall foliage on the west coast of the United States can spend some time driving the Feather River Scenic Byway. The byway covers 130 miles of wonderful California terrain, from the Sacramento Valley to the Great Basin. Along this byway travelers will get to enjoy the amazing colors of the fall foliage, as well as many wonderful destinations within the state of California.
Grand Mesa Scenic Byway, Colorado

The byway travels from Lee to Russell, covering 35 miles. The Upper Peninsula, Michigan

Enchanted Circle Scenic Byway, New Mexico
This amazing byway is a loop from Taos to Eagle Nest, Angel Fire and ending up again in Taos. The Taos region of New Mexico is filled with amazing recreational destinations and more. Some visitors might not know that this destination is also a wonderful destination to enjoy the fall foliage. Travelers wishing to vacation in the southwest this fall can plan a road trip along this byway. Peter Norbeck Scenic Byway, South Dakota
This Scenic Byway travels through the Black Hills of South Dakota. Route 100 and the Green Mountains, Vermont
Vermont is known for some amazing destinations for fall foliage. Travelers that want to enjoy a fantastic trip during the fall can drive on Route 100 through Vermont. This route starts at the Canadian Border and travels through Vermont to the border with Massachusetts. While driving this road travelers will enjoy views of some amazing foliage, as well as many other wonderful Vermont destinations, including maple stores, ski resorts and much more. One particularly good destination are the Green Mountains, which have stunning examples of fall foliage.
